Word is getting out around town that the finishes at Lumiere are very refined. I would support that statement 100%, and I’d love to show you proof in the suites themselves, though they are off-limits for photography for the moment. Instead, I thought I’d show you a different aspect of the building.
So, just what does Lumiere look like from the inside? Well, here are some photos of the almost-finished hallways that give you an idea of what you can expect:
Everything is minimalistic, sleek, luxurious and modern. Plus, the extra ceiling height adds grandeur to the doorways framed in dark wood.
The carpeting is thick and heavily matted to add a spring to every step. They are dark with subtle lines drawn into them. In the above photo, the doors are guarded with a plastic covering and red tape to ensure that any construction workers do not damage the surfaces.
The main elevator entry/exit point has four elevators, which is perfect for a 30-story building.
At this stage of construction on February 28th, 2011, and about 3/4 of the way up the building, the hallways are relatively finished with wall paper, door trim and suite numbers, and are just awaiting floor trim, removal of construction materials and a few other minor elements.
Lumiere is almost ready – are you?
